For use in boreholes, shafts, mines, water wells, caves and for providing indirect lighting in most borehole and water well applications. The Super Eight Lights substantially improve video quality in most situations, especially in larger areas and in water with suspended particles

    The Adjustable Super Eight Light can be set to focus most of its light to the side, or down, or at any angle.

     

    The Adjustable Super Eight Light provides direct or indirect light, giving the best lighting alternatives. When it is used with the camera light's on/off circuitry, the video texture can be substantially improved. The indirect lighting provided by this light also helps to reduce glare in poor quality water.

     

    The eight Mini Maglites used in the GeoVISION Super Eight Lights have been substantially modified to work effectively in boreholes and at underwater depths up to 2000 feet. The Mini Maglites commonly available at hardware stores may be used; however, they will likely fail at water depths greater than 300 feet.

    Super Eight Light with the standard camera The Super Eight Light has greater versatility when used with the camera light's on/off switch. This circuitry allows the operator of  GeoVISION Standard and Dual Scan micro cameras to turn the camera lights on or off from the control panel.

    The Super Eight Light may be configured with one to eight Mini Maglites.  It is shown here with two Mini Maglites The Super Eight Light is shown here with four Mini Maglites.

    Using two centralizers as shown above, will stabilize the video. The Deluxe System, when equipped with the motorized pan and tilt option, comes with one CPVC and nylon and one stainless steel centralizer as shown above. The Deluxe System with the motorized pan and tilt two centralizers, and the super Eight Light.
