driven and provided better performance.

The Motor Drive Option is
available to power the winch. It comes with a speed & direction control
unit and its own power supply. The motor drive provides for smoother videos
while lowering the camera. It will also raise the camera, if there is less than
20 pounds of weight down the hole. Unless additional weight is placed on the
camera, the heavy duty camera and cable fully extended into the borehole will
weigh less than 20 pounds when water buoyancy is considered. A hand crank is
available to supplement the motor in the rare event that the motor does not
pull the cable back.
