WorkVISIONTM is a video workstation that can be used to aid in inspection of electronic or mechanical assemblies, micro soldering and repairs. It consists of a 12 inch LCD flat screen color monitor that can be viewed with a minimum of eye strain. The operator has an unobstructed view of the object being inspected by simply looking down from the screen. The color camera head has a zoom lens (2.5 - 30X) and auto focus with manual override. The self-contained light source has 12 LED cool white solid-state lights that can be turned off or on in groups of 3 to change lighting conditions.
The system has a video output that can be connected to another monitor or a VCR to allow recording of a process. There are also video and audio inputs which allow the operator to watch training videos with sound.
